Cañada de la Virgen has been dated by the archaeologist by 500 A.D. Inhabited originally by the Otopames Indigenous it seems it was a very important ceremonial and pilgrimage center and a prominent astronomical observatory place.

Let’s walk by its three monumental complexes, we are going to explain about the archaeoastronomical and calendar importance of this place and about the burials exhumated by the archaeologists.
