Cañada de la Virgen has been dated by the archaeologist by 500 A.D. Inhabited originally by the Otopames Indigenous it seems it was a very important ceremonial and pilgrimage center and a prominent astronomical observatory place.

Let’s walk by its three monumental complexes, we are going to explain about the archaeoastronomical and calendar importance of this place and about the burials exhumated by the archaeologists.

• Leaving from our office located in 84 Relox st corner with Callejón del Pueblito upstairs.
• Duration four and a half hours.
• Small group tour.

• On the site we´ll walk about three miles up/down hilly trails
• Highly reccomended wear comfortable shoes, hat or cap, sunblocker.
